Sana Kamal, M.D

  •  Dr. Kamal is a Virginia Licensed & Board-Certified Psychiatrist with specialization in both psychiatry and neurology. She completed her psychiatry residency at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in D.C. and has worked as a staff psychiatrist providing medically necessary treatment and rehabilitative services with emphasis on medication management, somatic disorder, diagnostic and assessment services.  She has provided psychiatry services in different settings from outpatient, acute/walk-in clinic and emergency settings. Dr. Kamal specializes in treating Serious Mental Illness and Emotional Disturbances. She is devoted to providing her patients with an outstanding patient experience and medically necessary patient care.  She is committed to helping patients manage symptoms of bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, psychosis, addiction, chronic psychiatric illnesses and other mood disturbances return to their normal level of functioning with improved quality of life.  She is also passionate about working with geriatric patients with history of mental illness, grappling with Dementia, and Alzheimer diagnosis. Christabel Lartey, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

  • Dr. Lartey is a Virginia Licensed & Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with specialization in psychiatry and addiction medicine.  She graduated from George Mason University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice.  Her past experience includes providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management in an outpatient and inpatient settings to manage psychiatric symptoms to include, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Bipolar Depression, Post-Partum Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Substance Use Disorder and other Serious Mental Illnesses.  She is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults manage psychiatric symptoms by utilizing pharmacological treatment, psychoeducation and psychotherapy as needed.  She is passionate about serving individuals grappling with Substance Use Disorder by utilizing office-based medication assisted treatment buprenorphine/naloxone (suboxone) as a trained American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Practitioner.  To schedule an appointment with Dr.  Lartey, please call the main line and speak to a receptionist.

Kossi Eklou, DNP, PMHNP-BC

  • Dr. Eklou is a multilingual (Spanish/French) and experienced board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from George Mason University. He is a Virginia Licensed & Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  He is a dedicated and dependable Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with outstanding communication skills. His areas of expertise include substance use disorders (Buprenorphine Waiver Training), co-occurring disorders, psychiatric evaluation, medication-management, serious mental illnesses and other psychiatric disorders. He utilizes critical thinking skills derived from evidence-based treatment techniques to guide decision making in the clinical work environment and he enjoys working with adults (18+) population. Olusola Edwards, LPC, LMFT, LSATP

  •  Olusola Edwards is a Virginia Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist & Professional Counselor.  She received her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2012.  She completed training with the Military Family Life Chaplain Training Center at Ft. Hood,TX where she learned how to utilize solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to manage different life stressors and traumatic events. She worked with the military as an Addiction Counselor & Triage Behavioral Health Counselor overseeing and supervising emergency psychiatric crisis. She has worked with different age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics, and in different settings from inpatient, PHP to outpatient services.   She enjoys helping individuals/families with substance use and co-occurring disorders.  She is dedicated to helping individuals accomplish their goals by utilizing non-judgmental and short-term solution focused techniques.

Andranita Dogan, MA, NCC

  • Andranita Dogan graduated with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling and currently a doctorate candidate for Advanced Studies in Human Behavior.  Andranita worked as a Therapist for Prince William County where she provided services to children, adolescents and Adults through Intensive-In-home and Mental Health Skill-building Services.  Andranita gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working as a former Medic with Texas Army National Guard and Case Worker for United States Marine Corp where she worked for 5 years with special needs children, and adolescents enrolled in Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP).  As part of her experience working with the military, she was trained on how to bring a sense of calm in an emergency situation and she has continued to apply this training to clients served in the Mental Health field.  She also believes that everyone has within themselves the means to change, the ability to create and maintain their own happiness, they just need a sounding board to help bring it out.  Andranita believes she is a good listener and advocate for people in general.
