Sana Kamal, M.D

  •  Dr. Kamal is a Virginia Licensed & Board-Certified Psychiatrist with specialization in both psychiatry and neurology. She completed her psychiatry residency at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in D.C. and has worked as a staff psychiatrist providing medically necessary treatment and rehabilitative services with emphasis on medication management, somatic disorder, diagnostic and assessment services.  She has provided psychiatry services in different settings from outpatient, acute/walk-in clinic and emergency settings. Dr. Kamal specializes in treating Serious Mental Illness and Emotional Disturbances. She is devoted to providing her patients with an outstanding patient experience and medically necessary patient care.  She is committed to helping patients manage symptoms of bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, psychosis, addiction, chronic psychiatric illnesses and other mood disturbances return to their normal level of functioning with improved quality of life.  She is also passionate about working with geriatric patients with history of mental illness, grappling with Dementia, and Alzheimer diagnosis. Adomale Elba DNP, MS, APRN, PMHNP-BC

  • Dr. Elba is a Virginia Licensed & Board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of nursing experience in providing compassionate care, that is culturally sensitive and non-judgmental to individuals with mental illness in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Elba specialized in providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly. She obtained her Master of Science degree from Salisbury University in Salisbury MD and her Doctorate from George Mason University in Fairfax VA. Dr. Elba provides outpatient services that focus on utilizing evidence-based research to diagnose and treat mental illness, interpret data, and facilitate treatment plan that is individualized. Kossi Eklou, DNP, PMHNP-BC

  • Dr. Eklou is a multilingual (Spanish/French) and experienced board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from George Mason University. He is a Virginia Licensed & Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  He is a dedicated and dependable Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with outstanding communication skills. His areas of expertise include substance use disorders (Buprenorphine Waiver Training), co-occurring disorders, psychiatric evaluation, medication-management, serious mental illnesses and other psychiatric disorders. He utilizes critical thinking skills derived from evidence-based treatment techniques to guide decision making in the clinical work environment and he enjoys working with adults (18+) population. Caren Carter, MA, LMHP-R


  • Caren is a Mental Health Professional Resident in Counseling. Caren earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from George Mason University, School of Education in 2016.  Her past counseling experience includes working as an intensive in-home specialist, working with at-risk children and adolescents with anxiety, anger, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and behavioral issues. She enjoys working with youth to provide a solid support system, be reliable trusted adult in the youth’s life, foster positive peer relations, setting short and long-term goals. Helping clients to maintain stability within the home and community using psychoeducational methods. Her approach to therapy is person-centered and cognitive behavior, allowing the client to lead the way as the counselor guides through the therapeutic journey. She also enjoys using a holistic approach to counseling by embracing the complete person and showing the connections between a person’s emotions, thoughts, and physical experiences. She believes that a person’s health is the key to a successful and healthy lifestyle. Jessica Lee, MSW

  • Jessica Lee received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University in 2019 and is passionate about providing insight-oriented therapy for the community.  She has experience working with clients as young as 16 months to 65 and older and enjoys helping individuals and families gain skills and confidence to manage difficult life transitions, anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma.  She completed her graduate internships with Loudoun County Public Schools and several integrative health care facilities in Prince William County where she developed skills to conduct groups and lead trainings.  She utilizes motivational interviewing techniques as the foundation to cognitive behavioral therapy and short-term solution focused techniques within a trauma-informed approach.
